About Us

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has maintained a list of email addresses of residents in our villages (Emery Down, Bank, Gritnam and Allum Green) and beyond, to send you news of community events, information and updates.
The overall aim is to maintain our communities as wonderful and safe places to live and keep you in touch with village charities and not-for-profit organisations (i.e. the almshouses, the parish church, Emery Down and Bank village hall, the local history group, and charity fund-raising events).

Who We Are

Revd David and Lucy - the vicar and churchwarden of Christ Church Emery Down and Bank, respectively - will email you on church matters and events.
Sara Is PCC Treasurer and maintains the email list - Sara will email you details of non-church events and relay village messages when she is requested to do so by residents.

General Data Protection Regulations

Revised General Data Protection Regulations were introduced on 25 May 2018.  These mean that we need your active consent to send you news of community events, information and updates.  The data collected (your email address) will be stored safely and will not be disclosed to anyone or any organisation.
